Performing Tricks: What Shape Is Best?

Obviously the larger your trampoline, the more tricks you can do on it and know that you're likely to safely land within the perimeter.  Some shapes lend themselves to more than just bouncing.  A mini trampoline is great for bouncing and for different exercises but really isn't the thing to get if you want to land on anything other than your feet.  A rectangular trampoline is a popular choice and one reason is that it has lots of room to move.

There are many tricks that one can do on a rectangle trampoline. While on the trampoline, people can perform many different actions which will move their body in several different ways. By practicing and then performing these tricks, people can wow their audiences and also work on their motor control, as often time repetitive motion on a rectangle trampoline will create a growth in muscle mass.

What kind of Tricks can you perform?

On a rectangle trampoline, you can do many different tricks. By jumping enough and getting enough height, there are many different landing techniques that one could perform. One could practice landing on their feet, knees, or rear end, and rebounding back to a standing position. There are also various tricks that include landing on your back or stomach or side and jumping up to a standing position again. The most complicated tricks involve doing different flips. With enough height, someone could perform a front flip, a back flip, or even different flips in succession. These flips should be carefully practiced, and no one should attempt to do them without someone to spot them, or to supervise.

Age restrictions for a rectangle trampoline

Children should never use a rectangle trampoline without supervision. A child should probably be six or seven years old before they are allowed to be on the rectangle trampoline without an adult to be directly with them. Even then, a parent or other adult should supervise the children when they are using the trampoline. Children should never allow their friends to use the rectangle trampoline without parental approval, and should always be educated in using the rectangle trampoline.

Family use of a rectangle trampoline

A rectangle trampoline can be a great addition to a family area. By keeping one in the backyard or similar family area, families can have a place where they can be together as a family. Exercising as a family is a great way to keep in shape, as well as to keep relationships between family members fresh and full of fun. A group or family activity such as using a family rectangle trampoline can provide hours of great fun, which is also good for your health!

Safety first

Safety should always come first when using a rectangle trampoline. Families should carefully read the safety instructions that come with the trampoline and be sure they are understood by all members of the family.
